STUDENTS

For FFA Week today is Plaid Shirt Day.  Tomorrow will be Camouflage Day.  The Ag Olympic event today is the bale toss.  The medallion was found yesterday. 

The new gym will be closed all day Friday.  The old gym will be closed after lunch on Friday.

Activity passes will not be accepted Friday and Saturday at the individual wrestling tournament.

The boys’ and girls’ locker rooms will be closed on Friday at noon.  Please remove all valuables.

Football players in grades 9-12 are reminded that the deadline for jersey ordering is today at noon.

Anyone who pre-ordered section wrestling shirts can pick them up from Mr. Fink today.

Student council will meet Thursday at 7:45 in Room 312.  Council members are asked to bring in candy bar and sucker money.

The Southwest MN PIC applications for summer jobs are available in the counseling office.  This is an income based program.  The deadline for applying is April 15.

Due to the significant interest in SMSU’s College Now Scholarship, the date for applying has been extended to March 1.  Students interested in attending SMSU in the fall who have taken a concurrent enrollment class may be eligible for this scholarship.  Interested students should contact SMSU’s admissions office and/or the high school counseling office for additional information.

Yearbooks are now on sale.  Order forms can be picked up in the media center or printed online from the yearbook page under activities.  Yearbooks can also be ordered online from the yearbook web page.  The cost is $45.00 if ordered prior to March 3.  After March 3 the price will increase to $50.00.  Preorders will not be accepted after March 20.  See Mrs. Hemish with any questions.
